Sunday: Bend Marathon Detours

The Bend Marathon takes over Northwest Bend this Sunday (7 AM – 2 PM). If you’re heading to the Westside for a morning coffee or a trailhead, expect significant detours around the Old Mill, Galveston, and NW Crossing. Your best bet for crossing town is to use Reed Market or Newport Ave; avoid the Mt. Washington roundabouts entirely until after 10 AM.

Paving & Long-Term Projects

Watch for Overnight Paving Downtown (April 8–9) Crews will be out on NW Greenwood near the Courthouse. If you’re heading home from a late-night shift or a late dinner, stick to Franklin or Newport to dodge the lane shifts.

The "North-End Hustle" remains in full swing The Butler Market and Purcell Blvd projects are still active. If you’re heading toward the hospital or Costco, give yourself an extra 10 minutes—these detours have officially become a local rite of passage.
